Morocco, represented by the CNDP (National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection), won 2nd place in the international privacy and data protection competition, called the "Global Privacy and Data Protection Awards 2017", in the Awareness and Education category. The awards ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 39th International Conference of Personal Data Protection Authorities (ICDPPC) in Hong Kong on September 26, 2017.
