The CNDP, the AREF of Fès - Meknès and the Provincial Directorate of Boulemane organizie a workshop on: "The Importance of Personal Data Protection and Digital Privacy".
To mark Universal Children's Day, the CNDP (National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection), the AREF (Regional Academy for Education and Training) of Fès-Meknès and the Provincial Directorate of Boulemane organized, this Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the "Lycée Qualifiant Missour Mixte", an awareness-raising workshop on "The Importance of Personal Data Protection and Digital Privacy", for the benefit of around 300 students from various secondary schools under the Boulemane Provincial Directorate.
This workshop is organized under the "Koun3labal" agreement signed on December 7, 2022 between the CNDP and the AREF.
This day is part of the CNDP's awareness-raising program on the importance of personal data protection and digital privacy targeting students.
On that day, the theme of digital violence was addressed. A series of best practices were also presented, designed to help students use the Internet safely and raise their awareness of the dangers of digital violence. An interactive quiz and a cartoon interpretation session enabled students to assimilate concepts linked to the protection of personal data.
The CNDP also presented the "Koun3labal" platform, dedicated to the protection of digital privacy and the processing of personal data in Morocco and Africa.
It should be recalled that the "Koun3labal" platform was launched on December 9, 2022, and aims, among other things, to raise awareness of digital privacy among children, teenagers, women, parents/guardians and teachers, while providing the relevant players with tools to better target and raise awareness among young people and women in their activities.
